In this case, an ostomy bag is a prerequisite. According to a conclusive study, in the US, patients spend a fortune to secure the required ostomy equipment. This triggered Michael to come up with Permanent Ostomy Wafer. He understood the greatest challenge with the ostomy bag was the adhesive wafer around the stoma. With all the irritation and pain the ostomy bag caused, he knew there must be a better way to help patients who use ostomy bags achieve quality medical care.

Inspired by this thought, Michael developed Permanent Ostomy Wafer. The working mechanism entails placing a stoma flange around the skin. Then a medically certified individual mounts a magnetic ring on the skin of the patient in question.

The professional then firmly attaches the stoma using a sutured sheet of artificial skin. With this attachment, the patient can then comfortably attach or detach an ostomy bag that is built using ferromagnetic metal onto the skin. By use of magnetic forces, the bag is firmly and safely secured without the need for adhesives. And with the invention, the patient is free of pain or skin irritation caused by adhesives.
